Retro Fittings for a Bathroom or not?

I don't know... when you redo an old house it is tempting to leave the old style bathrooms in place... on the other hand.. there are great "retro looking" new fixtures... everything from claw foot tubs (that are actually bigger so we can fit in them with our modern sizes!) to sinks in antique dressers....thoughts???
